Foundries are among the most hostile environments on a factory floor: heat, dust, vibration, and heavy parts. Ubanthu Robotics designs foundry automation cells that survive these conditions while delivering consistent cycle times and dramatically improved operator safety.
We engineer foundry cells for casting extraction, ladle handling, shot blasting support, grinding cell loading, and heavy part transfer. Robots are selected for payload headroom and protected with heat shields, wash-down sealing, and positive-pressure enclosures where conditions require.
Our scope spans design, integration, and operator training, and we work with ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, and Mitsubishi high-payload platforms. Every cell is validated in simulation before on-site commissioning to minimize shop-floor iteration time.
